Pommard, Côte de Beaune, Côte-d’Or, Burgundy, France
From vines planted in 1931, this pinot displays the depth, vibrancy and elegance we have come to expect from this reputed region. Black cherry and spice notes dominate on the nose, with harmonious oak undertones and a hint of chocolate. The palate is voluptuous, bursting with concentrated red berry fruit. The suave texture and full-bodied, long finish make this a truly excellent, elegant Pommard perfectly suited to ageing. Drink 2022-2028.
