Colchagua Valley, Chile
A concentrated and complex wine, the production of which is extremely limited. It is predominantly cabernet sauvignon, with the addition of other varietals according to the qualities of the year’s vintage. It’s a powerful and ripe red, with 15% alcohol and moderate acidity. There are salty sensations of cured meat and ripe black fruit, very balsamic, with notes of cigar ash and spices, quite influenced by the élevage. Harmonious in structure, with an attractive, long and complex finish, Taita has the potential for long ageing, and can be laid down and cellared for many years.
