Experience the changes from year to year as climate and weather affect each vintage. Each year is exceptional, but in its own way.
The 2015 blend is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The growing season was dry and warm, leading to a riper, darker fruit composition, with hints of orange peel, allspice, and dried tea leaf.
The 2016 vintage is 60% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. The growing season started out wetter, but became warm and sunny in the Summer. This vintage has a combination of red and black fruit, with floral notes on the nose giving it a lifted elegance.
The 2017 vintage is 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The growing season began with a late frost in the Spring, though the favorable aspect of the south facing slopes saved the vines from damage. The starts and ends of the season saw more rain than average as well. All of this culminates in a wine evoking red fruit with notes of rose and violet. Though a more challenging vintage, the excellent terrior and vinification shows through.
