Aged in rare casks, this is the oldest whisky in Ardbeg's core range.  The age yields  complex flavors to rival this whisky's smoky power.

A burst of smoked cream, peppermint, and toffee greets the nose, alongside Ardbeg's classic fennel and pine resin.  Bonfire smoke mixes with herbs and tropical fruit. In the mouth it is extremely vibrant, hot and peppery, with lemon sherbet, candied apples and orange peel as well.  The taste lingers, filled with cream and fudge.  Elegant, and soothing.
