This Semillon was half barrel-aged in oak for 8 months, and half on lees and stirred weekly in stainless for 6 months before blending the final wine. This method gives the wine complexity and balance, with lemon and pine needles on the nose, and gooseberry and honeycomb on the palate.  There is a hint of minerality and river stream in the background.
