The Les Clos appellation is characterized by salinity and intense aromatics.  This wine is aged in oak, but deliberately old oak to retain the natural freshness granted by the terroir.  Flavors of apricot and apple mix with a touch of honey and butter.  This wine could age five to ten years for more complexity.
