One of the four oldest appelations in Tuscany, Capezanna stands on land that has been growing grapes for wine for at least 1200 years, if not longer. This wine has a generous nose with some dark cherry, cedar wood, tobacco and sweet spices providing complexity. The palate is dense and concentrated with high but ripe tannin, a fresh backbone, attractive berry fruit, cassis and a long lingering finish.
