1º Nome means 'first name' in Portuguese, inviting you to be part of the family: informal, not pretentious.  Just so, this wine is very approachable and light, with flavors of yellow bright fruits and green apple, some floral notes, and a touch of oak for complexity.  Miguel Louro, the wine producer, created this small release as a personal project, when he isn't working as the enologist at Prum in Mosel, Germany.
