From the iconic Tommasi family’s vineyards in Puglia - an area settled by ancient Greeks in 700 B.C., hence the naming nod to Heracles - this is a big, full, smooth primitivo. Aromas of soy sauce and earth on the nose. Rich flavours of red and dark fruit, including juicy cherries, plums, and mulberries. Hints of cocoa and miso create a deliciously funky finish. The producer suggests pairing with roasted and grilled meats, seasoned cheese or spicy soups.
